Directions

The Dana School of Music is located in Bliss Hall, at the intersection of Wick Avenue and Spring Street. Landmarks include the Wick-Pollack Inn, YSU Alumni House and the Butler Institute of American Art. Parking is available in the M1 parking deck also on Wick Avenue.

From the northwest (Cleveland, Toledo):
Ohio Turnpike to Exit 15. Follow I-80 East to I-680. Youngstown Exit at 422 East and proceed to Wick Avenue exit. Turn right onto Wick Avenue. Bliss Hall will be on your left at the next traffic light.

From the north:
Take Rt. 11 south to I-80 East. Take the first exit off I-80 Rt. 193 South, Belmont Ave. Make a right on Belmont and proceed south about 1.5 miles to the light at Gypsy Lane. Make a left on Gypsy; at the third traffic light, make a right onto Fifth Ave. Go about 1.6 miles on Fifth until you cross the overpass for Rt. 422. Go over the bridge and make the next left on the eastbound access road. Bear right past the YSU stadium. At the stop sign, go straight ahead to the traffic light then turn right onto Wick Avenue. Bliss Hall will be on your left at the next traffic light.

From the east:
Take I-80 West to Rt. 193 South, Belmont Ave. Make a left on Belmont and proceed south about 1.5 miles to the light at Gypsy Lane. Make a left on Gypsy, at the third traffic light, make a right onto Fifth Ave. Go about 1.6 miles on Fifth until you cross the overpass for Rt. 422. Go over the bridge and make the next left on the eastbound access road. Bear right past the YSU stadium. At the stop sign, go straight ahead to the traffic light then turn right onto Wick Avenue. Bliss Hall will be on your left at the next traffic light.

From the southeast (Pittsburgh):
Take the PA Turnpike to 16A on the Ohio Turnpike. From there, take I-680 approximately 10 miles to Exit 6B (Rt. 62 and Hubbard). Follow signs for YSU and take Rt. 422 West. Take the first exit (Wick Ave.) and turn left on Wick Ave. Go to the second light. Bliss Hall is located to your left.

From the south:
Take Ohio Rt. 11 north to East to I-680. Take the Youngstown Exit at 422 East and proceed to Wick Avenue exit. Turn right onto Wick Avenue. Bliss Hall will be on your left at the next traffic light.

From the west (Akron, Columbus):
Take I-71 or I-77 North to I-76 East. Where I-80 and I-76 divide, follow I-80 until it intersects with I-680 East to Youngstown. Take the Youngstown Exit at 422 East and proceed to Wick Avenue exit. Turn right onto Wick Avenue. Bliss Hall will be on your left at the next traffic light.
