Dr. Tedrow Perkins

Dr. Tedrow Perkins received the B.M. and M.M. degrees in
oboe performance from California State University, Fullerton and a D.M.A.
from North Texas State University. His primary teachers were Mr.
Donald Muggeridge, Mr. William Criss and Dr. Charles Veazey. He has
performed with the Midland-Odessa Symphony, the Cheyenne Symphony and with
the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Perkins has taught oboe and
theory for the Dana School of Music, Youngstown State University, since
1986, and most recently teaches Popular Music. His duties also include
work as assistant director of the school and as treasurer of the Friends
of Music.
